Dungeon Mastering isn't a "by it and play it" job. There's ALWAYS a certain amount of customization necessary to make the adventure fit one's group and DM style.
For me, the ability to make my own custom content is the most basic functionality of any DM tool. I can't see myself using this platform if it doesn't allow me (the DM; the end user) to import custom content.
Frankly, I don't see a Kickstarter campaign being successful for what will basically amount to a virtual bookstore with its own proprietary reader. Beyond that, I don't see such a product being terribly successful, ESPECIALLY since WotC themselves sell a similar service and therefore will do everything they can to prevent anyone else from making money on it.
